The PerkinElmer Lambda 20 1nm UV/Vis Spectrophotometer is intended for routine UV/Visible analysis. The spectrometer features a scanning double-beam, all-reflecting optical system with microprocessor. Lambda 20 spectrometers are usable in a wide range of applications as indicated by their performance specifications. The monochromator is a holographic concave grating with 1053 lines/mm in the center. Two radiation sources, a deuterium lamp and a halogen lamp, cover the working wavelength range of the spectrometer, which is 190 to 1100nm, ±0.3nm. The spectral bandwidth is 1nm or 2nm (fixed slit). Scan speeds: 7.5, 15, 30 , 60, 120, 240, 480, 960, 1920 and 2880 nm/min. The Lambda 20 also has a RS 232C interface for connecting a printer or PC (not included). Display information, parameters and entries are shown on a 2-line vacuum fluorescence display with 20 alphanumeric characters per line. Method types include Timedrive, Scan, Wavelength program, Concentration Analysis with factor and with Calibration.
