The 5977 Series MSD is a stand-alone capillary GC detector for use with an Agilent Series Gas Chromatograph. 5977 Series MSDs are equipped with a diffusion pump, and a choice of three foreline pumps. In addition, there are two types of analyzers (stainless steel or inert) and four types of ion sources. The MSD features:
- Local control panel (LCP) for locally monitoring and operating the MSD
- One of two different high vacuum pumps
- One of three different foreline pumps
- Three different types of independently MSD heated electron-ionization (EI) sources available: standard (stainless), inert, and extraction
- Optional chemical ionization (PCI/NCI) modes available that add a chemical-ionization (CI) source, reagent gas flow controller and plumbing, and CI tuning calibration

Agilent 7890A GC System
The Agilent 7890 (G3440A/G3440B) is a state-of-the-art gas chromatograph that provides superior performance for all applications. The Agilent 7693A ALS (Automatic Liquid Sampler) provides reliable, fast, and precise injections for Agilent GC and GC/MS systems. The modular design allows this autosampler to grow with your lab. Start with a tower and 16 vials. Expand to the 150 vial tray. Upgrade to the heater, mixer barcode reader module. Add a second tower for dual simultaneous injections.
