On any SOTAX off-line, on-line, on-/off-line semi-automated system, it is now possible to change filters after every sampling point. It solves clogging and saturating problems that may occur in some extended release test. The SOTAX FS 7 uses up to 140 common 25mm luer locked filters down to 0.45 microns porosity. Media changes could also need filter changes and the FS 7 is totally driven by our WinSOTAX software. Filters can be changed manually pushing one button with non-SOTAX systems. For method transfers from semi-automated systems to fully automated systems the stand-alone filter station FS 7 is a precious help. In terms of reliability the FS 7 comes from the AT 70smart internal filter station which has been used intensively for years on non-stop daily routine testing.
