The TGA interface/module is equipped with a built-in, temperature-controlled flow cell and must be connected to a thermogravimetric analysis (TGA) furnace. You can analyze the evolved gases from TGA experiments using the OMNIC Series software. The TGA interface is usually mounted in the sample compartment of an AEM; the TGA module is usually installed on the side of the spectrometer, leaving the AEM or spectrometer sample compartment free for other experiments and accessories.

The Golden Gate has proven to be the world’s most robust and versatile Single Reflection Diamond ATR accessory for analytical sampling under extreme conditions. It is the only Diamond ATR accessory that is precision designed and engineered to perform at cryogenic temperatures down to -150°C and at elevated temperatures up to 300°C with added feature of supercritical fluid pressures up to 6000 psi using the appropriate top plates.
The standard unit is provided with a 2 x 2mm 45 degree single reflection Type IIIa Diamond brazed within a Tungsten Carbide sample mount. The optical path directs the energy to an active sample area of 0.60mm in diameter. The accessory includes a novel swing bridge with a mounted Sapphire anvil for controllable and reproducible high pressure contact up to 180 lbs. The anvil has a clear working distance of 6mm for macro samples and is mounted into a non-rotating clamp to avoid sample shear and heating by friction. ZnSe is provided as the standard infrared transmitting focusing element with KRS-5 available for extended spectral performance.
